I will send round the reading for Janice Hiller as soon as she sends it to me.
I spent a fortnight in Brittany in France enjoying bracing Atlantic swims and delicious French produce and writing a new blog post on what might be happening in the brain when adverse childhood experience occurs and how it could lead to psycho-somatic illness and personality disorders.
I hope you might find some time to read it. The link to Perceiving IS Believing is here: https://psychoanalysisinotherstories.com/2024/08/16/believing-is-perceiving-how-poor-early-care-might-cause-personality-disorders-and-psycho-somatic-illness/ and do feel free to share it with colleagues if you think the ideas are worth spreading.
In the meantime, happy holidays!
