Group Info
This is a series of 10 weekly webinars designed to explore and discuss various aspects of Psychodynamic Supervision in which participants will be part of a developing group context with opportunities to reflect and contribute. The webinar is run by Veronica O’Hare, Psychodynamic Psychotherapist & Psychodynamic Organisational Therapist, and Jeremy Gunson, Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist.
The webinar will take place from 12th Sept to 21st Nov 2025. The cost for the 10-week series is £575.
- Each Webinar will take place on a Friday afternoon with two 1.25 hour sessions from 13:30–14:45 and 15:25–16:30 respectively with a mid-break of 30 minutes.
- We will begin by pooling experience, thinking comparatively about supervisory roles and responsibilities while beginning to consider various essential concerns associated with power and accountability that will feature throughout the Webinars.
- We will go on to think about how unconscious processes convey emotional states and draw attention to aspects of relational life that can support learning and understanding more about a presentation and therapeutic encounter.
- There will also be opportunities to explore the nature and impact of traumatic stress including inter-generational and transgenerational transmission; different supervisory contexts and the powerful influence of the organisational context before approaching the importance of endings.
The series would be useful for both:
- Associate Members who have completed a recognised clinical training wanting to enhance psychodynamic supervision skills in an organisation context with a view to future competency requirements, and
- Senior Associate/Full Members who are working as Supervisors as a CPD opportunity to explore their experience and enhance their skills.
